Points, protocols and indications

De nouveaux protocoles sont implémentés chaque mois. Mais ce n'est pas tout !

The updates are monthly and do not only concern auriculotherapy protocols.

Auriculotherapy, like auricular neuromodulation and auricular acupuncture, is a science in motion! The existence of several Schools, schools of thought and even traditions makes it difficult to summarize. Thus, a point with the same name can be found on two different locations. For example, the “stomach” point is the subject of at least 3 different puncture sites. Likewise, the same location may have several different names: for example, the Chinese “anxiety” point and the European “rhinencephalon” are the same. Likewise, new protocols are being introduced regularly.

Aurimatrix makes it possible to validate new auriculotherapy or auricular neuromodulation protocols

And this is very simple: on an individual basis, the “Analyses” function makes it possible to compare, for a given indication, the protocols carried out and the results obtained. Collectively, some users share their experience and their protocols are retained if the number of patients treated is sufficient. In this case (and with their agreement!) , their protocols are proposed to the community.

Existing protocols are sourced as much as possible. The protocols from books have all received the authorization of their authors before their distribution.

New indications have come in regularly.

Regularly, Aurimatrix puts new protocols online for existing indications, but also offers new indications. However, there are several limitations. Some indications require a medical diagnosis to be made beforehand. For example, the protocol for the “essential tremor” indication applies for an essential tremor, but implies that differential diagnoses have been ruled out by a physician. It would be too stupid to treat dysthyroidism...

Second, some indications are not indications. Proposing a treatment for Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis or AIDS is charlatanism. On the other hand, for these indications, it is possible to treat a symptom associated with these diseases. In this case, the treatment is that of a manifestation of the disease, not of the disease itself.

Let's take an example: in a patient who has had a stroke, you can improve an anxiety syndrome associated with that stroke, but in no way improve cerebral oxygenation or cerebral blood flow in the acute phase. Only thrombolysis or thrombectomy can do this, in the current state of knowledge. Likewise, you cannot prevent recurrence by stimulating the auricle in any way. The cardiologist will undoubtedly be in a better position.

This is why, in Aurimatrix, the indication “AVC” appears as an associated diagnosis, which means that you cannot put AVC as the only indication. On the other hand, if you enter a first indication (for example, anxiety, stress, anxiety to repeat the example), then you can enter the “AVC” indication, which appears as an “indicative” diagnosis.

Even the dots are moving!

The summary of the various Schools is long. Despite our best efforts, some points may be the subject of discussion about their name or location. We work to correct differences when consensus is reached. That is why some updates may change the position of some points slightly.

And the application in all of this?

Good news! We take your feedback into account to constantly improve the application. We work tirelessly to offer you a quality service for a professional practice.
